My name is Jessica Sliman and I am the first grade teacher. This is my first year at St. Joseph’s and it is also my first year teaching. I graduating in May 2008 from John Carroll University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood education and a Reading Endorsement for grades K-12. I attended St. Michael’s school as well as Central Catholic High School so it is great to begin my teaching career at a Catholic school in my hometown. My years of Catholic education have made a positive impact in my life and I am proud to help others grow in their faith.

I come from a family of six children and have always treasured growing up in a big household. Family is a very important value in my life and I am happy to now be apart of St. Joseph’s family. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer, running, and have my heart set on traveling to see the various places this world has to offer.
