Greg Jackson began serving at St. Joseph Parish in 1988 as Director of Youth Ministry. After serving 2 years as the Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Ministry for the Diocese of Youngstown, he returned to St. Joseph in 1999 as Parish Director of Religious Education. He holds a bachelors degree from Walsh University and a Masters of Religious Education from Loyola University, New Orleans. Greg and his wife Mary Ellen have been married for 36 years and have 5 adult children and one grandchild. As Director of Religious Education, Greg serves St. Joseph school as a resource person for the teachers in preparing their religion classes, directs sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation, and provides adult religious education opportunities for the staff in meeting Diocesan certification requirements. He maintains the Religious Education Center in the school, which contains print, video, and audio appropriate for use with adults, adolescents, and children. |
