St. Joseph School is part of the Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio Catholic School System. The Superintendent of Schools is Dr. Nicholas Wolsonovich. Text Box: Areas of Study All students receive instruction in Religious Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English/Language Arts, Health, and Physical Education. Expanded Programs with Specialist Instructors Computer Music Band Art Spanish (K-8) Algebra 1 Text Box: School Year St. Joseph School year is divided into two semesters of 18 weeks, each with 4 ½ week interim reporting periods, and 9 week report periods. It is a 178 day school year. Our school day is from 8:15 am until 2:45 pm. A Before and After School Care program is provided from 6:45 am-8:00am and 11:00 am until 6:00pm for PreSchool-8. There is a fee for this program. Text Box: ****PreSchool/PreKindergarten**** PreKindergarten (older fours and early five year olds who will be going onto Kindergarten the following year) are offered a program for 5 days with an option of 3 days (T, W, F) from 8:00-11:00. Our Pre-School (older threes and early four year olds) program for 2 days is in the morning from 8:00-11:00 on Mondays and Thursdays.
